Macmillan Information Libraries
Across Lancashire and South Cumbria we have the support Macmillan in the form of Information Libraries or "Pods".
These Libraries have a wealth of knowledge and information available to patients, their carers, spouses, partners, family members, friends and loved ones.
At these Libraries, you can find out information about what is happening or available in your local area around cancer such as support groups, support organisations, complementary therapies and self help courses. They also have leaflets, publications and other resources that are available to you.
The Libraries are staffed by either an Information Manager or a volunteer, they are there to help you in any way they can.
